                Contest from local perspective

                Where did it take place?

The comic contest in Spain has been held in different places in order to give children
the opportunity to participate in different contexts. Thus, the contest has been
disseminated so that any individual child could participate, this activity has been

proposed in the school classrooms and comics have been made in extracurricular
                classes.

                Who participated?

Any child who wanted to contribute to the prevention and awareness of bullying.

Some children were attracted by the idea of addressing the issue of bullying to
contribute to a good cause, others by the fact of using art methods (painting, digital
art...) and others by being able to do it in English. In any case, the bullying
competition has been something that has motivated each of the children in different

                ways.

Most of the participating children are in primary school (6-12 years old), where they
are beginning to learn about bullying issues and to be aware of them, so it has been
a very stimulating activity for them.

                How many students were involved?

Ten children participated, both from primary and secondary school (12-16 years
old), from different schools and ages. Most of them have been girls. In any case, the

participation has been optional since it is not considered a topic to which it should

                be forced to adress.

In addition, in a particular school, they have made comics with the topic of bullying
as a creative activity at the end of the course, and they have been given the
opportunity to participate in pairs or groups in order to comment on the subject,
                each one giving their perspective.
