Participants will learn to solve community problems by
analyzing the problem in a creative way and searching for
the solutions (Handout 8).
● The goal of the next activity is evaluation. Training
participants share with others information about what
they learned during this training session (Handout 9)
* Exercises provided in handouts 3 to 8 can be performed in
group or in pairs. The first variant assumes that the trainer will
conduct all activities. In the second variant, the "mentor" plays
the role of a trainer and through cooperation with the mentee
they go through each of the exercises together and learn from
each other.
Learning After the end of this session, training participants will

objectives/skills: understand:
● what is mentoring,
● how to create successful mentoring relationship
● what is the role of the mentor and what is the role of the
mentee in mentoring relationship
● how to recognize what is the source of motivation for a
mentee to do the work for the local community.
● how to communicate more effectively
● how to analyze and solve the problems in the local
community during mentoring sessions.
Timing around 4 to 5 hours
Equipment and sheets of paper, writing utensils, flipchart, pictures: 1,2,3,4,5
Materials (printed), table 1 (printed), scissors, checklist 1, markers, form 1
(printed) or online training software
