                  means convincing and negotiating, but also means dealing with challenging situations.
                  In this way, the individual will become more confident in himself and in his world.

                  Many successful leaders start without self-confidence or skills. Leadership skills can be
                  trained and built step by step. No matter what the skills are at the moment, anyone can
                  become a leader if they want and accept it. local-community-leaders.eu/

                  As a community leader, you need to know what is going on in your community. In this
                  regard, you need to gather enough information to form an overview of people's interests,
                  concerns, similarities, values and differences. Knowing the community, as a whole, will
                  come up with a series of creative ideas about leadership needs in the community.

                  There are many ways to collect information:
                      ●  from direct contacts with the inhabitants, asking people what they believe;
                                                                                local-community-leaders.eu/

                      ●  from participation in public meetings, cultural events;
                      ● from the local press etc.

                  All of these ideas give a detailed picture of what is happening in the community.
                  Effective leaders had a very strong and clear vision and set of values for their
                  community which powerfully influenced their and others actions, and established a
                  clear sense of direction and purpose to it. To be a leader means to build a vision. As a
                  community leader, you can have different visions. Vision is the starting point in any
                  construction. It represents the way the leader understands to build for the community.
                  Because nothing happens until it happens in someone's mind first.

                  To achieve the vision, the leader must follow a few steps:
                      1. First, develop his own vision
                      2.  Communicate it to others
                      3. To share this vision with the group, and possibly improve it within the group.
                                                                                local-community-leaders.eu/

                  Once you have built this vision, you communicate it to others in the community and use
                  it to lead people.

                  To build the vision, you have to start from the things around you and think about how
                  to make them better. You can find countless solutions and elements. If you put together
                  all the elements of how things should be, you have an overview. The vision must be
                  communicated continuously, every time you talk to people in the community, remind
                  people where to go. The more the leader insist on the vision, the more people will be
                  willing to commit.

                  The vision must be launched just before forming a group. As the leader increase the
                  circle of those who know about it, it is created a community of people who know about
                  his idea and who can support him.
