                Step by steps        1. If this is a face-to-face session, the trainer should print table

                instructions:        no.1 and cut it into pieces so each activity can be matched with
                                     the appropriate phase of a mentoring relationship.

                                     2. Trainer starts the activity by asking training participants to

                                     imagine a mentoring relationship as a river. The river is divided
                                     into four parts, each of these parts symbolize a different phase of

                                     the relationship: preparation, negotiation, enabling and closure.

                                     3. The task of the participants is to assign the parts of the material
                                     provided by Table 1 to a specific phase of the mentoring

                                     relationship.
